mY THOUGHTS

It’s long overdue, but I’ve finally added a Club Brugge shirt to my collection. I had the chance to pick one up during their Macron era but, unfortunately, missed out at the time. Fast forward a few years and the club are now partnered with Castore—and this time, I didn’t let the opportunity slip by.

The prices were a bit higher than the old Macron releases, but still reasonable enough to make it a smart addition. I opted for the home shirt, drawn to Club Brugge’s classic blue and black vertical stripes—a design that’s always appealed to me for its clean, bold look.

The shirt itself is relatively simple. Aside from the club’s motto on the back of the neck, there aren’t many standout features or intricate details. But that simplicity works well, giving it a timeless feel that fits the identity of one of Belgium’s most storied clubs.

Now I can proudly say that one of the country’s biggest and most successful teams is finally represented in my collection—a long overdue but very welcome addition.
