MY THOUGHTS

Necaxa continued the tradition of Mexican clubs releasing pink football shirts in October to support breast cancer awareness. Although officially a third shirt, its ties to the charity initiative are clear. I vividly remember spotting this shirt when it first went on sale and feeling disappointed when I didn’t grab it, convinced I’d missed my chance. Fortunately, a few years later, it resurfaced—and to my delight, I received it as a Christmas gift in 2024.

The design is electrifying, quite literally, with bold lightning bolts streaking across the front and back of the shirt. True to form for Mexican club jerseys, it’s covered in sponsors, but honestly, wouldn’t it feel incomplete without them? A Mexican football shirt without a flurry of ads just wouldn’t have the same charm!
