MY THOUGHTS

It took me over a decade, but I finally own a Bayern Munich football shirt. One of the biggest clubs in world football — and somehow, it’s taken me this long to add one to my collection. The truth is, I was never in a rush. Bayern shirts are always easy to find, so I wanted to wait for one that truly stood out, something that really took my breath away.

Initially, I thought it would be this season’s third shirt. But then I saw the release of this anniversary edition, and I instantly knew — this was the one.

The deep red base paired with gold trim is a stunning combination, but what really makes this shirt special is the design itself. It features a tribute to Bayern’s history, showcasing many of the crests the club has used over the years — and I’ve always had a soft spot for old crests.

It’s no surprise this one sold out quickly. There was a premium version that came in a special box, but unfortunately, I wasn’t able to get my hands on that. Still, I’m thrilled to finally own a shirt from such an iconic club — and this one feels like the perfect addition.
