MY THOUGHTS

This is my second Mallorca football shirt, and it replaces the home shirt from the 2018/19 season in my collection. That previous shirt wasn’t bad by any means, but this one is much more limited—and exclusivity is always something that catches my eye.

This special edition was released to celebrate Balearic Islands Day, with Mallorca, being the largest of the islands, naturally taking centre stage. The front graphic is effectively a reimagined version of the Balearic flag, giving the shirt a distinctive and meaningful design without being overly flashy.

I bought this shirt directly from the club’s official store, and with only 300 units produced, it’s definitely a rare piece. It feels really well put together too—noticeably more premium than a typical stadium shirt, but not quite as high-spec as the pro-level versions you find from some of the bigger clubs. It strikes a great balance between quality and collectibility.

Given how limited it is, I can’t imagine there are many of these floating around the UK. That just makes owning it even more special—it's a unique addition to the collection and one I’m particularly proud of.
