MY THOUGHTS

When the original Salamanca club dissolved, two new clubs emerged in its place. Salamanca CF UDS is one of them—and the one that considers itself the spiritual successor to the historic club. They’ve even retained the older crest as a nod to their lineage.

What really sets this shirt apart is the stunning graphic of the Cathedral of Salamanca emblazoned on the front. It’s beautifully detailed and serves as a striking tribute to the city’s heritage. It's not just a football shirt—it’s a piece of local pride.

Umbro have done a fantastic job with the design, pairing a clean white base with elegant purple accents. It’s a colour scheme that feels both classic and distinctive, and it’s executed with real care. There are also subtle nods to the original Salamanca club woven into the design—small touches, but meaningful ones for those who know the history.

This one sold out fairly quickly on Classic Football Shirts, so I’m glad I managed to grab it in time. It's a great example of how lower-league or lesser-known clubs can produce shirts with just as much personality and story as the giants of the game.
