MY THOUGHTS

This Vikingur F.C. football shirt joined my collection as part of a charity initiative I was involved with. The Macron store in Iceland reached out to ask if I would help promote a charity campaign they were running in response to a volcanic eruption that had affected Grindavik. As part of the campaign, they had released a special shirt for the area. In appreciation for my support, they sent me this Vikingur shirt as a thank-you.

Knowing it was made by Macron, I was confident it would be a high-quality design, and I wasn’t disappointed. The standout detail is the embossed "V" from the club crest along the shoulders, which adds a subtle yet striking touch. The red pinstripes running down the black body of the shirt further enhance its sleek and stylish look.

I’d love to add more Icelandic shirts to my collection, but they’re unfortunately quite rare to come across. This shirt, however, is a fantastic addition and a great reminder of the meaningful cause it was tied to.
